Continuing Education classes

Continuing education is a requirement for many mental health professionals, allowing you to expand your knowledge and clinical skills in the mental health field.

We have experience providing Continuing Education classes for the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and the Stony Brook School of Social Welfare. We can provide in person and online continuing education classes. Earn CEs and CEUs to renew your license and stay abreast of changes in the industry.

Some of the topics we have covered to offer Continuing Education classes to mental health professionals and social workers are:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Anxiety Disorders

  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy: Overview, clinical tools and case examples

  • Family Therapy: The family therapist from a relational stance and an overview of different family therapy approaches.

  • Hoarding: What you should know and what can be done

  • Working with couples: Basic guidelines, methods and principles for the clinician wanting to work with couples
